micro1 is engaging Senior Property Damage and Restoration Experts to contribute to a customer's project focused on in-depth property loss evaluation and restoration process optimization. In this role, you'll apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input. No prior experience in AI is required — your domain knowledge is what matters.
Scope of Work

• Review and analyze property damage evidence, including loss photos, inspection notes, restoration estimates, and policy documents submitted digitally.

• Draft well-reasoned coverage determinations or estimate reviews, reflecting the standards of professional desk adjusting or restoration estimation.

• Assess the appropriateness of restoration scopes and estimate accuracy using Xactimate or similar software.

• Identify key factors, causality, and policy coverage issues in flood, wildfire, and other real property claims.

• Document methodology, findings, and supporting rationale in clear, concise written reports with high attention to detail.

• Collaborate with project coordinators to align on deliverable requirements and feedback processes.

• Offer nuanced insights and domain-specific commentary to help enhance AI-driven tools and workflows.

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of professional experience in desk adjusting, coverage analysis, or restoration estimating for property damage claims.

• Demonstrated expertise with Xactimate and restoration costing processes.

• Proven track record of evaluating and documenting complex losses, with an emphasis on flood and wildfire claims.
